OVERVIEW

This Confined Space Entry course is to ensure that the delegate gains the required knowledge and understanding for the requirement of working in a confined space safely, to identify all the various hazards, control measures, and emergency response.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our Confined Space Entry course is designed for workers who may need to undertake confined space activity in the workplace.

PREREQUISITE

Candidates shall be physically able to carry out procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all the sessions to be eligible for assessment.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

During the course, participants will gain an understanding of the legislative, company requirements, recognize hazards and gases, pre-entry requirements, safe working codes of practices, be certified as an Authorized Entrant and Attendant for confined space.

This course is taught by highly experienced instructors & the trainees will learn:

  • To define and identify a confined space
  • To explain the permit-required confined space
  • To identify various types of confined space hazards, including hazardous atmospheres and their control measures
  • To identify the functions and duties of the entrant, attendant, and supervisor
  • To explain the importance of Permit to Work and Risk Assessment

OVERVIEW

This course teaches individuals how to recognize first aid emergencies and care for an injury or illness until professional help arrives. The course is intended for individuals who need to expand the basic first aid response along with the safe use of an automated external defibrillator and a detailed look at the contents of a First Aid Kit.

Delaying aid delays the chances of survival of a victim who might be not breathing or needs first aid attention. Understanding when to react to an illness or injury is vital until a qualified first aider responds and when the medical professional arrives.

TARGET AUDIENCE

For individuals who need to deliver first aid before the arrival of the qualified first aider. They are appointed person at work. E.g.:
