How to Renew your Qatar MME/MMUP Engineering Registration
UPDA Registration Renewal Procedure: engineers and those practicing different engineering specialties across different private sectors may submit a request to renew their authorization to practice engineering with its various specializations and categories in Qatar, as well as modify their classification through receiving the required professional practice certificates.
Documents to keep ready
You should have the following documents ready (scanned) to upload in the online system on the MME website for MMUP renewal.
Renewal procedure on the MME website
The following sequential steps shall be followed to achieve the MMUP renewal of registration or upgrading of the current grade in the MME Engineers Registry.
Use the MME website
Use the link of the MME website shown above.
Log in to the MME website
Click Login and it will direct you to the Hukoomi login page. Use your personal credentials, not the company's. Your username is your QID. Once your credentials are accepted, it will take you to the MME site.
Engineer and Engineering Committee
Click the Engineer and Engineering Committee.
Registration and Follow-up Applications
Then click Registration and Follow-up Applications. The Engineer and Engineering Committee page will show.
Admission Committee Engineers services
Click Apply >> Admission Committee Engineers services.
Click Renew
The Registration and follow-up of Applications Electronically page will show. Then click Renew.
Renewal page
The Renewal page will appear. Click next; the documents listed above should be ready.
Renewal Page: My Info
On this page you should update your information as required. Upon completion, click next.
Renewal Page: Skills
On this page you should update your information as required. Upon completion, click next.
Renewal Page: Attach
On this page, you should attach all required documents, then click next.
Renewal Page: Print
On this last page, the reference number will be shown. Keep it for convenience in follow-up regarding your renewal.
Wait for an SMS from Baladiya
The text message should say that your renewal enrollment has been accepted and will ask you to come to pay the fees and get the new ID. Payment is through ATM or credit card only. No cash is accepted in all government services.

Kindly note that the renewal process must be completed within one month from the expiry date, and it is better to renew one month prior to expiry in order to avoid fines for non-renewal of MME registration.
The fee for the renewal is currently QR 200 and is subject to change.
